Student Employees at CIWR

The student employee program at the California Institute for Water Resources (CIWR) is open to undergraduate and graduate students at University of California and California State University campuses.

Student employees work with CIWR staff on applied research projects for water resources policy and management in California. Students undertake a variety of projects, such as conducting data analysis for research projects within CIWR, developing policy briefs, or working with collaborators on education and field work.

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Interested candidates can send a resume and writing sample to Erik Porse, CIWR Director (eporse@ucanr.edu). CIWR can support students who wish to receive academic credit for an internship at their enrolled university.
